[Blabber] How to pick and dry a wood branch/log

I always see branches being hauled or waiting to be picked up in central
park. I'm sure if you ask for such a small piece it won't be an issue.
As far as the drying goes, unless you are planning significant work
(cutting, shaping etc.) you can let it dry in place.
