For those of you interested in this project, they started a kickstarter campaign, and it's doing really well. Personally I still think it is really awesome.

> Haven't seen our Kickstarter campaign yet, or read about it in yesterday's Wall Street Journal? Check it out now! We're insanely excited that in our first 24 hours we reached 20% of our goal. But we're even more excited about why we're raising this money, and how we're doing it.
>
> Watch our Kickstarter video to see how these funds will help us build a full-scale demo of an indoor park powered by natural sunlight-- a mini "LowLine." We plan to build a massive installation of our cutting edge "remote skylight" technology in an abandoned space on the Lower East Side this September. This will enable us to create an indoor green space and free exhibition for the public.
>
> We're really proud to launch this campaign with partners in the Lower East Side community. Local businesses are offering amazing rewards: for $100 you'll get a tour at the Tenement Museum; for $250 you'll join a special cocktail party; and for $500 you'll join a private party at Russ & Daughters. But you can support at any level (and still get rewards!)-- so even a donation of $5, $10, or $30 is greatly appreciated.
