About Blabber	English (USA)
Blabber is the general mailing list for Hack Manhattan. Feel free to post a message introducing yourself and your interests, and participate in the discussion. To subscribe, fill out the form below, and respond to the confirmation email you will be sent. If you are new to Hack Manhattan or hackerspaces, you should come to one of our public Tech Tuesday events, or if that’s not possible, ask on the mailing list if you can visit another time. This mailing list is occasionally high traffic (sometimes dozens of messages a day, sometimes zero) because it forms the online core of our community and most discussion happens there. You can choose to receive a digest to limit the amount of email, or use your email client to filter list messages into a separate folder. You can also read along in the web archives instead. (If you use Gmail, you can Mute individual conversations that don’t interest you.) We also have an announcements only newsletter with one or two messages per month. Using Blabber
To post a message to all the list members, send email to blabber@list.hackmanhattan.com. (You will receive no replies unless you subscribe to the list.) You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Blabber
Subscribe to Blabber by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
